Why these four
A working set needs four things, and most people end up buying them one mistake at a time. One instrument to fill the room, which is the bowls. One that works directly on the body, which is the forks. One to open and close a session, which is the chime. One to put sound in somebody else's hands, which is the shaker and bracelet. Nothing here overlaps, and nothing important is missing.
The bowls are tuned to 432 Hz and to the Om frequency of 136.10 Hz, the two tunings most used in sound healing. 432 Hz is often called natural pitch for its resonance with nature and the human body. Both Om sets include the same 9 inch A4 bowl at 432 Hz that the Lotus is built on, and every bowl on this page sounds an A, C sharp or E, so they hold together as one chord instead of separate notes.

If you are starting out, or not yet sure whether sound work is for you, this is the bowl to begin with. Tuned to 432 Hz, often called natural pitch. Made from high-purity quartz, its long-lasting spherical tone spreads when the bowl is gently tapped or rubbed, so it can be felt through the whole room. Arrives ready to play.

A first set that goes a long way. Four bowls let you layer tones and hold a chord rather than one note at a time. The set has a light and inspiring character that encourages openness, clarity and emotional expression, with a sound field of brightness and vitality that suits meditation, energy work and sound therapy sessions.

How the forks are used
The kit pairs the 128 Hz Masterfork with the 134 Hz Theta fork. Held one at each ear, the 6 Hz difference between them is perceived by the brain as a third tone, a binaural beat in the theta range. Theta is the state associated with deep relaxation, meditation and creativity. Both forks are weighted nickel-plated steel with cork handles, and each comes in its own cotton bag.
