432 Hz Solar Plexus Chakra 1-Inch Bore Bass Walnut Flute, Note E

Our 432 Hz Chakra Flute is a one-inch bore bass tuned in the key of E minor. We created our 432 Hz Chakra series to merge our traditional flutes with our sound healing, 432 Hz flutes. All our flutes are handcrafted from a single piece of wood at the workshop in the mountains of southern Arizona. This flute is made from Walnut, which is a hardwood, that provides the flute with a clear, crisp musical voice that’s especially present on the high notes.

With a one-inch bore size, the flute's diameter is smaller than our regular bass flutes, which makes it an easier deep-tone instrument to play. Each of our flutes is hand-finished with a proprietary blend of nontoxic oils, which seals the flute with a satin shine and enhances the sound quality. It's length is approximately 24-inches (61 cm.)

In yogic philosophy, the Solar Plexus (navel) Chakra is associated with the musical note of E, the color Yellow, the element of Fire; it is the third chakra known as Manipura. It is considered the body’s energetic center for personal identity, self-esteem, and will power.

When a specific note is played, it is believed to stimulate its corresponding chakra. This activation sends energy or an aura to the physical body. Known as Prana in Hindu tradition, Chi in Chinese culture, and Ki in Japanese belief, this subtle divine energy is also referred to as Kundalini. Different tones and frequencies enable you to experience music not only through your ears but also through your bones and skin. This vibrational therapy is commonly combined with other healing practices for enhanced benefits.

For most of the 20th century most musical instruments have been tuned to Concert Pitch, which is the ‘A’ note tuned to 440 Hz. Recently there has been an interest in revival frequencies for musical instruments. We developed our 432 Hz series to expand our tuning frequency options. To achieve this, we use a 432 Hz frequency for the note of ‘A’ and align all other notes accordingly. The tonal, 8 Hz difference between a flute tuned to 432 Hz versus 440 Hz is subtle yet it is the frequency of the sound waves, which are considered more significant.  The tuning frequency of 432 Hz is often associated with musical instruments used in the field of sound healing.

For foundational harmony we recommend 432 Hz flute be played with other flutes in the same frequency rather than with those tuned to 440 Hz.

This flute is a six-hole flute. We automatically include a leather hole cover with this flute, which can be used on the third hole from the top of the flute, as seen in the product's images. Covering the third hole from the top makes the flute easier to learn to play. The leather hole cover can easily be removed, giving you the option of playing it as either a five-hole or six-hole flute.
