This 18" Wind Gong is traditionally handcrafted using a special bronze alloy to produce deep sound with opening overtones.

The gong ships with a beater and protective cover designed specifically for this gong size. You can also order an optional gong stand to display and easily use this handcrafted piece of art.
Sound characteristics: this 18" Wind Gong produces mainly low deep sound, but by playing the gong more powerfully it opens up beautifully with sizzling overtones. Because of its almost flat shape, the vibration of this gong spreads out extremely wide and with a very long sustain.
